Launch Out has implemented this policy in order to, first and foremost, protect our children whilst opening them up to a world of discovery. It is our aim to create a sense of trust for all parents in knowing that Launch Out is a safe place through which their children can learn and grow. Through this policy we create a guideline for vendors / instructors to formulate the best possible and most accurate way of communicating and guiding our children safely on the Launch Out platform thereby optimizing the learning potential of each child.
Launch Out is a Christian-based platform. We do encourage people of other beliefs to engage on our platform however require that classes do not promote specific religion or religious point of view that goes against the bible and its standards.
All classes must be age appropriate based on facts, ideas and theories that are grounded in science and accepted by the majority of experts in a field.
No classes are to be used to promote pyramid schemes or to sell or market merchandise of any nature other than the associated material required for the class that is to be presented.
All text, image and content is to be child friendly and age appropriate. It should be based on fact and not sensationalized in any manner. Any attempt to promote gossip or the slander of any person on any level in society will not be tolerated.
Sensitive topics that may be offensive to some parents that contain violence, sexual or political aspects must be communicated in the content detail.
Launch Out does not allow discrimination, hate speech, violence any way, shape or form on the platform. Political views and opinions are not to be promoted.
The following topics are considered case sensitive and we assess and restrict classes in the following areas
Nutrition and Diet
Mental health and wellness
Physical health, medicine, and drugs
Sex education
Nutrition and Diet classes that target nutrition advice to learners are considered medical services and will require qualified instructors with valid certification. Any weight reduction courses are prohibited on the Launch Out platform. All subject matter should be based on scientific fact and should be based on general information about food or diet types and should not promote a specific diet or way of eating.
All medical and health related topics (whether physical or mental)that include but not limited to Counseling, Psychiatric assessments,Evaluations on educational concerns, CPR, Therapy, Support groups for medical conditions, trauma and grief will not be supported by Launch Out as we consider these high risk topics that require specific qualified professionals to physically assess the patient in person. Fitness and workout routine classes are allowed however physiotherapy classes are considered to be medical in nature and will not permitted on the platform.
Sex Education and associated topics are considered very sensitive topics and will be assessed as such. Related topics can only be used in age appropriate classes and in general for the purpose of discussions required in biology and anatomy. Classes with any relation to this topic may only base the lesson on scientific and historical facts and must be made mention of in the class description.
Pseudoscience, Mystical, Supernatural, Magical and Paranormal topics are not permitted on the platform in the form of themes that include - but are not limited to - fortune-telling, essential oil treatments, the law of attraction, crystal healing, ghosts, astrology or extraterrestrial beings.Any reference to the above will need to be made clear in the class description and based purely on mainstream science, culture, or history, rather than endorsing these topics as scientific truth or as part of a mystical worldview
All case sensitive instructors will require a higher education certificate and proof of appropriate qualifications.
Instructors and classes that do not abide by the rules and our Terms of service as well as our privacy policy as laid out by Launch Out will be removed immediately from the platform
